By direction of the Whistler Fire Chief, no fires or residential campfires are allowed in Whistler. This campfire ban applies to all levels of fire danger rating, including low and moderate. The campfire ban in Whistler will remain in effect until further notice. A CSA-rated or ULC-rated portable campfire pit that uses propane fuel is still allowed in Whistler, so long as the height of the flame is less than 15 centimeters, and it is used in accordance with the manufacturer recommendations.
